Melted Sunshine

New hybrid by Singing Tree Gardens but not yet registered, this hybrid of R. 'Naselle' x R. 'Skipper' is a real winner. The leaves are much like R. 'Naselle', so it makes a very handsome shrub. The sunny yellow flowers are quite large, measuring 5 inches across, with the color deepening going to the center. A bit of red spotting gives the flowers a glow. The plant is a vigorous grower, becoming 6 ft. tall in 10 years. Hardy to 10 deg. F.

Rare Variety – This variety is difficult to find anywhere due to these reasons

·        Hard to propagate – many cultivars do not root easily from cuttings, but at a reduced rate thus making the plant rare.

·        Hard to find – these cultivars are hard to find in the first place, probably because they are hard to root from cuttings
