May Day

Bright orange pendulous flowers in lax trusses are very unusual and add interest in late April to early May. The foliage is matte green and has a nice dusting of indumentum on the undersides. It blooms for a good 4 weeks in our garden, and we always sell out when people see it. Plant with purples like 'Royal Purple' or 'Blue Lagoon' for a show that will delight your eye.
