R. 'Gigi Maree'

This new hybrid from Marc Colombel of France that we grew from seed he gifted us is quite wonderful. We have named it 'Gigi Maree' after our plant propagator Gigi Strauss.  This cultivar is not that old, but we can estimate that it will be 4 ft. tall and 5 ft wide in 10 years or more. The two-toned white and pink flowers have a very ruffled edge and are picotee. The foliage is like most all of Marc's hybrides, as it is a polyploid showing the traits of thicker leaves and stems with resistance to insects and diseases. We think this plant will be very popular and prove to be an award winner.
