Also known as the May Gold Colorado Spruce.

Unusual, bright yellow tipped Colorado Blue Spruce in spring. This cultivar is an upright evergreen conifer with a dense pyramidal form. New growth in spring is bright yellow-gold which contrasts with the older blue-green needles. An outstanding selection from Germany. Prefers sun/partial shade in well-drained soil. 7' tall x 4' wide in 10 years. Hardy to -40 degrees. USDA zone 3.
