Magnolia x 'Coral Lake'

A fairly new magnolia hybrid that has a complex parentage with lovely coral blooms that are striped with yellow and green. The tree blooms heavily and will eventually grow to 20 ft tall and 10 ft wide. The flowers come out as the foliage emerges in mid spring. The large pointy leaves turn coppery-bronze in the autumn. This is a relatively low maintenance tree, and should only be pruned after flowering to avoid removing any of the current season's flowers. It has no significant negative characteristics.
