Lantana montevidensis 'Trailing Purple'

This somewhat tender broadleaf evergreen shrub is quite lovely when in full bloom. The low trailing habit grows wide with vine-like stems. The clusters of tiny lilac to purplish-pink flowers with yellow throats bloom profusely throughout the year in frost free areas. Flowers attract bees and butterflies. Sometimes grown as annual for ground cover where not winter hardy. Excellent for hanging baskets, as it will trail over the edges. Happy growing in well drained soils with ample organic matter.
