Purple bud scales make this dense mounding plant really stand out in the landscape. And when it flowers, the light pastel pink flowers literally blanket the entire plant arranged in groups of 3-5 for a great effect. We know of one customer who purchased 200 of this variety, and planted 100 on each side of their winding driveway. The heart shaped leaves always make this one a favorite, especially with the red-purple leaf petioles. Hardy to zone 6.
