Receiving an Award of Excellence, this named form of the species R. yakushimanum has larger leaves and grows somewhat larger too.  The flowers are more colorful too with shades of rich pink and yellow mixed with white.  Happiest in some shade, this plant is an incredible show in springtime with the flowers completely covering the foliage.  Recommended. Hardy to -25 deg. F.
