Irish Lemon

Irish Lemon

Large mauve bell-shaped flowers contrast nicely against rich green, fine needled foliage. The new growth of the foliage is a bright lemon-yellow, which is why the name. The plant will be 12" tall and 2-3 ft wide in time, and makes a nice rounded mound. Found on the shores of Lough Nacung, County Donegal, Ireland. Hardy to zone 7.
