Iris ensata 'Royal Robes'

Japanese Iris with large, somewhat floppy purple petals separated by bright yellow signals, make this one of the most outstanding of the Japanese Iris. The plants bloom in early summer, and look and grow wonderfully at the pond's edge, giving any water feature a 'royal' appearance. The bright green sword-like foliage makes up to 3 flower buds that last for up to 2 weeks. Grows 2-3 ft tall and less wide. Hardy to -30 deg F.
