Delbar Cascade
Delbar Cascade
This weeping form of the Noble fir has to be staked to the height desired, then all of the lateral branches hang down making a very nice sculptural tree. This unusual broom was found at Drakes Crossing Nursery in Silverton, OR. We love the dark-green needles that make the tree really stand out in the landscape. The tree will go up by itself, but must be staked for the first 2-3 years, and reach a height of 25 ft. over time. The side branches are very strict weeping, creating a slender "pole" of a tree only 2 ft. in diameter. Rarely offered.
