Hupp's Single Snake

Hupp's Single Snake

A true oddity of nature, this tree is one of the most strange.  It is a Nobel Fir that looks like a snake rising from the grass. Lower branching is semi normal, not many buds. But when a terminal is established it shoots straight up with rare branches.  Always a collector's favorite. What looks like a stake going to the top of the photo is actually a main stem with no side branches.
