This fabulous new hybrid comes to us from Dr. Ned Brockenbrough of Seattle, Wa.  By Crossing his already famous 'Nancy Evans' with the huge flowered 'Point Defiance', he developed this gorgeous new plant. The huge yellow trusses with pink blushes on the petals decorate  foliage that is very heavy in texture, is always shiny dark forest-green , and holds 3 years.  Horizon Monarch is one of the highest rated rhododendrons available and promises to be one of the best to come along in years.
