‘HGC Pink Frost’ hellebore

Helleborus x ballardiae 'HGC Pink Frost' is part of a new collection of the winter blooming perennials. This one's claim to fame is that it blooms later, in late February and into March and sometimes all the way into April. The flowers start out a deep burgundy, then open to a soft pink, then ages to a deep rose color. The flowers come up and bloom above the foliage so are not hidden. We really like the foliage, deep dark green that is very attractive in the woodland garden. Deer resistant.
