Wowie Zowie! What a color. This new Hellebore has large 3" flowers that are a dramatic midnight purple to black in color, and last on the plant for 3 months! Even the foliage is different...emerging a purplish-black color, then turning dark-green. This evergreen plant will be your winter spectacular show, and if planted with lighter colored Helleboros like 'Sparkling Diamond' will stop people in their tracks. This excellent perennial makes a great ground cover, and is deer resistant to boot. We love that you can plant them, then forget them, as they are so maintenance free.
