Helleborus Winter Jewels 'Picotee Pearl'

The O'Byrnes who own Northwest Gardens Nursery, in Eugene Oregon, have created many unique and different hellebores, and this one is no exception. The outer petals are a bright white with a thin picotee edge of red-violet, while the inside collar around the stamens has unique shapes with the same picotee coloration. WOW! I don't expect to have these in our inventory very long due their unique look. The breeding of these unusual plants started with several species including Helleborus virdis, purpurescens, atrorubens, croaticus, and orientalis. Will grow to 15 inches tall. and prefers some shade. Hardy to zone 4.
