Fuchsia paniculata is a plant of the genus Fuchsia native to Central America. It belongs to the section Schufia and is most closely related to Fuchsia arborescens. Often called the Mexican Blueberry Fuchsia because after flowering the plant produces small, round berries that turn a purple-black color, looking remarkably like blueberries. The plant likes to be well watered and hates to be dried out. A shrubby habit growing from 5-6 ft tall in 10 years. Hardy to zone 8.
