Fred Boutin Lavender

Fred Boutin Lavender

Very useful as a fast growing evergreen fragrant shrub with abundant showy flower displays. This French hybrid is best known for its attractive silver-grey fragrant foliage and stems. The purple flowers rise above the foliage in summer attracting bees and butterflies. Popular growing in containers on the deck and used for sachets and potpourris. The dried flowers are great for flower arrangements. As the flowers are sterile this cultivar doesn't self-sow. Likes full or partial sun in arid climates. Hardy to zone 6. Evergreen
