Flaviramea - Yellow Twig Dogwood

Flaviramea - Yellow Twig Dogwood

This vigorous, deciduous, suckering shrub is a native to eastern North America with the named form 'Flaviramea'. It has creeping underground stems and a spread that often exceeds its eventual height of about 6 ft.  Oval to lance-shaped green leaves turn orangey-red in autumn, followed by white fruit sometimes tinged with green.  'Flaviramea' is a form displaying bright greenish yellow shoots. Plant with the 'Red Twig' Dogwood for a showy winter display.
