Eucryphia x nymansensis ‘Mt. Usher’

This wonderful Fall blooming tree comes to us from Mount Usher Gardens in Ireland. Growing taller than wide, this evergreen tree is hardy to USDA zone 7 and will cover itself in late August/ early September with white flowers that have a gold center (stamens). Little is blooming at this time of year, so the tree really stands out. This is a selected form of E. x nymansensis  that has bigger leaves and seems to be more vigorous. Rare in the trade.
