Eschscholzia californica ssp. maritima

This form of California poppy is quite different, and better than the regular form everyone is familiar with. The foliage is the first thing noticed, as it is very blue-green and low and layered making a tight mound. The flowers are two-toned, bright yellow with and orange center. It seems to bloom longer as well, making a nice display from spring all the way until fall. Drought tolerant once established.  Hardy to zone 9. Height to 10-18"
