Ellwood's Pillar

A dwarf columnar variety of the Port Orford Cedar, this may have been a sport off of 'Ellwoodii'.  The color of the juvenile foliage is a wonderful blue-gray.  Growth habit is so compact, most of the time you cannot  distinguish individual branches.  An excellent choice for a tree that is columnar in form, but doesn't grow too large. We love the tight, compact growth on this 'Spire' shaped tree.
