Daphne odora 'Sweet Amethyst'

A new late winter FRAGRANT Daphne that has purple buds opening to light violet-lilac lavender lusciously fragrant flowers. This shrub will be 2-3 ft tall and 3-5 ft wide in 10 years. Plant in part shade in well drained soil. Fertilize in mid spring to encourage flower bud development for the next year. Doesn't want to be transplanted, so plant it where you want it to stay. Hardy to zone 7.
