Daphne bholua

A Himalayan species of Daphne that is also known in that part of the world as the Nepalese paper plant. The evergreen Daphne species will grow taller than wide, reaching 6 feet over time. The flowers are powerrfully fragrant, and this species has been used in hybridizing new Daphne cultivars like 'Perfume Princess'. The flowers come out in winter and are a lovely pink, fading to white. Hard to propagate.
