Here is a dwarf spruce that turns daisy-white in the spring with the new growth, then goes to a blue-green by mid summer.  The color change seems to help prevent any burning by the summer sun.  Growing to only 2 ft. with a tight pyramidal growth habit enables this cute little conifer to fit into smaller gardens.  Very charming!
