Cuphea hyssopifolia - Mexican Heather

Generally grown as an annual in cooler climates, this prolific lavender color flowering plant is native to Mexico, and will grow 18 inches tall and 24 inches wide. Hardy to zones 9-11.  Can be a perennial in coastal areas. Prefers a sunny location with good drainage, and kept a bit on the dry side. Watering once a week is usually perfect.
