Red Creeping Thyme - Thymus serpyllum 'Coccinea'
A fine textured thyme that grows flat and makes a great rock garden plant. The flowers are a rich red/purple that really are a knock out! Easy to grow and planting in a container is also recommended. Flowering starts in mid summer and lasts for at least 1 month. The color is more purple than red, even though the name suggests otherwise.
