Ceanothus x 'Ray Hartman'

A named form of the California native mountain lilac that grows fairly large, 10 ft tall in 2 years. The evergreen shrub flowers in spring with very blue flowers covering the shrub. Fast growing into a rounded shrub. Only hardy to zone 8. Not deer resistant. Named after the owner of Leonard Coates Nursery who helped do much work to identify California's native flora.
