Camellia x williamsii 'Water Lily'
Camellia x williamsii 'Water Lily'
Another long blooming, award-winning Camellia with large 4 inch double flowers of bright rose pink. The flowering starts as early as October, and ends as late as May in some locations. Named because the flowers resemble water lilies, this cultivar won the Award of Garden Merit of the Royal Horticultural Society. This one prefers some shade to be happy, and will grow tall, 8-15 ft tall and 5-8 feet wide. Excellent screening or hedging plant, and can be planted 5 ft apart to achieve a visual block. After blooming, the spent flowers will drop requiring no deadheading. Hardy to zone 7.
