Camellia japonica 'Daikagura'

Here is a unique camellia with variegated flowers. The pattern of white mixed with shades of pink and red, is different for every flower on the shrub. This makes it a surprise when in bloom. The blooming begins as early as January, and continues into the spring. The plant will grow full and large, up to 8 ft tall and wide with shiny dark green leaves. Used often as a privacy screen due to its lush and full nature. 'Daikagura' means 'Great Sacred Dance' in Japanese. Hardy to zone 7.
