Camellia japonica 'Black Magic'

A large, vigorous growing Japanese Camellia with dark-red, almost black flowers. The petals contrast with the bright yellow stamens, adding interest. Glossy, semi-double flowers start out a deep red, then shift to a darker red with black veined markings. The toothed foliage is unique, and stays a rich green color throughout the season. Flowering is in mid to late season. Hardy to zone 7.
