Calluna vulgaris 'Tib'
A summer blooming Scotch heather with forest-green foliage and long flower stalks bearing double, mauve flowers all along these stems. Low growing with densely branched, mat-forming foliage, and can be quite a good ground cover. The rich green summer foliage turns bronze-green through the winter months. Named after Isabel Young whose nickname was 'Tib' who happened upon the exceptional heather in Scotland's Pentland Hills. Given the prestigious and coveted AGM award for its outstanding qualities.
