Calluna vulgaris 'Red Fred'

 

Russet-red tips decorate the foliage on this Scotch heather in late  spring, making an attractive display. Then in summer, showy pink urn-shaped flowers cover the plant until fall starts. In winter the foliage turns bronze-green. It has much redder tips than 'Fred J. Chapple' which it was found nearby, hence its name.  14” tall x 18” wide.
