Bowles Golden Carex

One of the brightest of the Carex elata cultivars. Being a sedge, this grass needs to always be moist or wet to really thrive. Excellent planted near a pond or water feature, but can also grow well in a boggy spot. Planted near blue foliage of dwarf conifers like the Blue Star Juniper makes a stunning display. Also, being semi-evergreen (evergold) you will enjoy this plant all year round. Will lighten up a dark, shady spot, but will be more green than gold in shade.
