Black Dragon

Dark green foliage gives this Japanese Cedar a great look in the landscape.  It is a variety that grows slowly with a dense habit to 10-12 ft. tall and only 6-8 ft wide in 20 years .  Handsome and a good choice for planting near bright or light colored foliage plants. Hardy to zone 6. The name 'Black Dragon' refers to the fact it has the darkest green foliage of any Japanese Cedar, almost black. Often used in bonsai.
