Bill Fee
Bill Fee
Here is a rhododendron that we received from the late Bill Fee of Fort Bragg, California, and was created by Mr. William Moyles of Berkeley, California that should receive some recognition. Here on the coast of California, in the cold dark days of February, this amazing plant opens it flowers to light up our days. Rich blood-red flowers in perfect trusses sit atop whorls of narrow splendid leaves of green, making their offering that warms the soul. We have several of these plants along our 1/4 mile driveway into the nursery to light the way for visitors. It is always highly requested. Limited quantities. I have registered this plant as R. 'Bill Fee' to commemorate this good friend and excellent nurseryman. The parentage is R. 'Red Majesty' x R. arboreum.
