Belva's Joy

Gorgeous foliage is the outstanding characteristic of this new hybrid by Cecil Smith and named and registered by Merle Sanders of Roseburg, Or.  The flowers are a nice bright red and cover the plant in April. This variety has proven itself over time to be a higher-grade plant with better performance. Also, as it is difficult to find, we consider it to be a 'Premium Variety'. Hardy to zone 7.  Congratulations to Cecil Smith and Merle for a real winner!   Will grow to 3 ft tall in 10 years.
