Acer palmatum 'Kiyohime Yatsubusa'

This interesting 'table-top' maple will grow to only 2-3 ft tall, but 10 ft wide, being quite flat on top. The small five-lobed leaves come out green with a pink edging, adding to its charm. One of the best for bonsai. Orange colors in the fall. Fine texture makes this one useful for contrast in the landscape. Can be pruned to shape, and is recommended to do this in summer. Hardy to zone 4.
