Acer palmatum 'Ikandi'

Named and introduced by Talon Buchholz of Buchholz nursery in Oregon, this medium size tree will begin bright pink in spring, dazzling the eye. Then in summer, the foliage turns to green with pale white variegation with a thin pink picotee edge. WOW! This tree will be a knockout in summer. Variegation becomes more pronounced with age, so small young trees may not show the colors until some age is reached. In fall the foliage turns orange to red before dropping its leaves. Hardy to zone 6.
