Acer palmatum 'Hana tsukasa'

This wonderful Japanese Maple starts out in the spring all pink in color! As it ages, the leaves develop heavy variegations of white, pink and green. The color combinations cause the tree to 'glow' especially in a partially shaded site. This rare beauty was discovered by Tsukasa Nursery in Japan. It is recommended to be used as a stand alone focal tree due to its unique character. Hardy to zone 5.
