Acer palmatum 'Amber Ghost'

One of the 'Ghost' series discovered at the Buchholz Nursery east of Portland, Oregon, 'Amber Ghost' has very unique and stunning colors in the spring. When it first emerges, it is bright pink, then changing to a melon, pink-orange color. In summer it is a warm soft anber with rich red leaf petioles. In autumn it shifts to bright red and orange. The tree is somewhat vigorous, becoming 8 ft tall and 10 ft wide in 10 years. Hardy to zone 5.
