Don't you just love the name? It is a small witch's broom from Abies concolor 'Candicans', and is ideal for the rock garden or small spaces. The lovely pale-blue thick needles are short and densely packed on short stems, keeping it very dwarf and broader than high. 'Piggelmee' was found in the Netherlands in the 1970's. It is hard to propagate due to the short branches. Grows less than 1 inch per year.
