R. 'Diving Turtle'

New from Singing Tree Gardens, this R. 'Horizon Lakeside' hybrid has flowers that are twice as big as its parent. Sitting on top of very shiny, textured foliage, the large trusses have ruffled edges and a red throat. This plant likes a bit of shade to be totally happy. Growing to 6 ft tall in 10 years, the plant is hardy to zone 7. 

Rare Variety – This variety is difficult to find anywhere due to these reasons

·        Hard to propagate – many cultivars do not root easily from cuttings, but at a reduced rate thus making the plant rare.

·        Hard to find – these cultivars are hard to find in the first place, probably because they are hard to root from cuttings
