Found as a witch's broom mutation, this nice pyramidal form of Lodgepole pine is an excellent choice for the smaller garden, as it is dwarf and will only be 4 ft tall after 10 years. Hardy to -20 degrees, or zone 5 makes this one more adaptable to the colder states. Has pronounced candles in winter. The rich green needles are thin and shiny. Site in full sun in well drained soil high in organic material.
