Firestorm rhododendron

 For all of you in the colder parts of the country, here is a very hardy, deep-red flowering rhododendron. Each bloom has wavy-edges of heavy substance and presents itself in perfect dome shaped trusses of 15 florets. The densely branched plant has a spreading habit with medium green handsome leaves. Everyone loves the compact habit that will top out at 3 ft tall x 4 ft wide in 10 years. Hardy to zone 5. Now that is hardy for a red flowering rhododendron! Blooms in mid May.,
