Abies lasiocarpa 'DuFlon'

Very slow growing sub-alpine fir that covers the tight globe with fresh new growth each spring. Grows less than ½ inch of new growth per year, making it fit into the miniature conifer catagory. Discovered near Lake Sushman, Washington by Alton DuFlon in the mid 1950’s. It is considered to be one of the smallest fir clones ever found. Hardy to zone 4.
