Taxodium distichum 'Falling Waters'

You will need to stake this interesting deciduous conifer to achieve the results seen in this photo. In 10 years the tree will be 10 ft tall and 5 ft wide. In winter, without leaves, it will be a very unique sculpture in the garden. Then, in spring the new foliage will come out a bright florescent green creating a 'WOW'. Some think, when seeing 'Falling Waters' it is a weeping Dawn redwood, but it is a Bald Cypress. In the fall the foliage turns to a yellow-orange color before the needles drop. Hardy to zone 4.
