Sawa Chidori

Sawa Chidori is quickly earning a name as a collector's item among Japanese maple fanatics.  It is proving itself as an excellent variegated variety.  In the fall the leaves will begin to fade to a creamy yellow white with bright green veining and lovely hand shaped leaves we have come to love in the palmatums.  The creamy veined leaves are quite pleasing but they are just another passing phase of this little maple and the fall color will be quite shocking in comparison!  Flaming orange/red will be the finale as we drift breathlessly toward winter.  What an unexpected beauty this one is!  Highly recommended
