I always recommend to my customers, "If you only buy one rhododendron, buy Rubicon". The foliage is very dark and textured, and the plant will only grow to be approx. 4 ft. in 10 years. The flowers are blood red and seem to open throughout the blooming season. Wow! Note: this plant can grow in full sun on the coastal areas with cool temperatures. Those with hot summers will have to provide some shade.
Premium Variety – This variety has proven itself over time to be a higher-grade plant with better performance, a higher degree of attractiveness, and is hard to find and purchase.
