R. ‘Titian Beauty’ x (R. degronianum ssp. yakushimanum’ x R. proteoides)

A wonderful little rhododendron for the rock garden. Not yet registered by any name, this remains just a 'cross', but it a very valuable plant for any small garden. All of the parents are dwarf or miniature rhododendrons, so the size stays small. Our old plants are only 12" tall and 18" wide. Because of the 'yak' x proteoides parentage the foliage is quite a lovely shiny dark-green with tan indumentum on the undersides of the leaves. Pink and white flowers cover the plant in April, and the plant is hardy to -5 deg F.

Premium Variety – This variety has proven itself over time to be a higher-grade plant with better performance, a higher degree of attractiveness, and is hard to find and purchase.
